foraging.ninja provides probabilistic habitat suitability maps for wild mushroom species based on publicly available climate, terrain, and vegetation data. The Service synthesizes data from PRISM Climate Group, USGS 3DEP, LANDFIRE, SNOTEL, iNaturalist, and GBIF into 0–100 suitability scores at 250 m spatial resolution.

The land ownership overlay is provided for informational purposes only and may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. You are solely responsible for:
Trespassing on private property is a criminal offense. The operators of foraging.ninja accept no liability for trespassing charges, citations, or legal consequences arising from use of this Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATORS OF FORAGING.NINJA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
The "Live Conditions" features require a paid membership at $9/month (or current pricing shown at checkout). Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion within 7 days of a charge for technical issues only.
The mathematical suitability algorithms, factor weights, and model architecture are proprietary intellectual property of foraging.ninja. The frontend interface, API design, and documentation are copyright foraging.ninja. Data sources (PRISM, LANDFIRE, USGS, iNaturalist, GBIF) are attributed to their respective owners; their use complies with their respective licenses.
Suitability scores are probabilistic estimates based on environmental proxies. They do not account for microsite conditions, current year anomalies not yet captured in the data pipeline, land disturbance, or many other factors affecting actual mushroom emergence. Scores should be treated as starting points for exploration, not as authoritative predictions.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Boulder County, Colorado.
